I got chills seeing your lilacs--our pictures of the final days of anticipation before E's birth feature the lilac bush in our yard, just burst into intensely redolent bloom. Since then I have associated lilacs with that exquisite moment of waiting right before a child arrives in the world. Your wee one is almost here!
