Out and about with friends
Today, Julian is two and a half years old. He's one eighth of the way to twenty!
Here are some other recent shots of him with many of his friends:
Having bagels at the daycare class playdate. From left: Evalyn, Julian, Julia, Maisie.
At the physics department fall picnic - cupcakes with yummy blue frosting!
At the daycare fall picnic, there was a choo-choo train! Julian and Geoffrey went for a ride together:
But then Julian decided he preferred riding on Mommy's lap.

Julian at home
We have a lot to catch up on! Here are a few pictures and movies of what Julian has been up to lately. More to come soon...
Julian was excited about harvesting the carrots, tiny though they were.
He likes to build towers. Especially Eiffel Towers.
We think he looks like his cousin Milo in this one.
Animals on parade!
We all live...
in a yellow submarine. Pop star in the making.
We had two feet of snow at the end of October, and had to make an emergency run to REI for new snowboots.

Grandpa Jim
We all miss Julian's Grandpa Jim, who left us on August 28th. We hope that with these pictures and movies, and others like them, Julian will have something to remember him by. They sure did seem to be two of a kind.

Tour de Boulder
Julian has been practicing his riding on the back patio. But yesterday, he decided to go forth into the wider world.
(By the way, those are Mommy's bike gloves that he insists on wearing. We may have to get him his own eventually.)
