Julian has a new mode of transportation.

Lately, of course, we've been introducing him to the important sporting events. He picked it up pretty quickly:



These days he insists on having all of his "friends" [stuffed animals] and blankets with him in bed, on the living room rug, or on the couch while watching Sesame Street - or in this case, the Red Sox. Hence the hat, which he refers to as "playing baseball hat."

Spring Training

After our expedition on Sunday morning, we went to the playground and met up with Julian's friend Milo! They went down the Big Red Slide together, and played ball. It's all documented on Milo's blog, so click on over for pictures and movies!

Butterflies and more

This morning, Julian and I went on an Expedition to the Butterfly Pavilion! We saw all sorts of fascinating wildlife. To spare our sensitive readers, I didn't take pictures of him looking at the huge tarantulas or giant fluorescent scorpion, but he enjoyed them very much and also liked saying "Buzzzzz" to the bee colony.

In addition to the bugs, there were aquatic animals; we petted a starfish, and watched this big blue guy having a snack:


And then we went into the tropical conservatory. I liked these Chinese oak silk moths resting on a tree:


Julian met a huge blue morpho:


And of course, it was a great place to run around and splash in puddles!
